Love School. The word LOVE in chunky block letters, 18 colors, the O replaced by a big red apple with a green leaf on top. The letters themselves have this leopard-print texture fill in warm brown and tan, then theres golden pencils tucked into the gaps and these little four-pointed sparkle stars in teal and pink floating around the outside. It's colourful without being chaotic, everything's got its place in the composition. Its one of those desings that just reads instantly. You see it and you know exactly what it's for.

Run a layer of medium-weight cutaway stabiliser under your fabric before you start. Skip tearaway on this one, the stitch density won't hold cleanly on anything that tears away. At the smallest size you're already at 28,308 stitches and the largest comes in at 65,373, so plan your thread supply ahead of time and don't rush the colour changes. Sizes run from 3.18 inches wide up to 6.81 inches wide. Square-ish proportions so it centers well on tote bags and tee fronts without awkward cropping.

My friend stitched this on a canvas zip tote last June as an end-of-year teacher gift and the teacher apparently cried a little when she opened it. She used the 5 inch version and it sat dead center on the front panel. Load up your threads and give it a go. Dm me any time if something doesnt open correctly and I'll get it resent.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Teacher appreciation gift tote bags or pouchesThe apple and pencil imagery makes this immediately readable as a teacher gift on totes or pouches.
  • Back to school tee shirts for kids and teachersOn a neutral tee shirt the 18-color palette makes this a real standout piece for first day photos.
  • Canvas zip bags or pencil casesZip bags at the 3 to 4 inch size work well for pencil cases kids actually want to carry.
  • Classroom cushions and decor hoopsStretched on a 7 inch hoop with a white or cream base it works as classroom wall decoration.
  • End-of-year gift sweatshirts for school staffSweatshirts for school staff with chest placement in the 5 inch range read very professional.
  • School fair and fundraiser itemsAt school fairs this kind of design moves fast on ready-made totes and bags.
  • Bookbags and backpack panelsThe square composition centers well on bookbag front panels without awkward cropping.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
