Its just the word Love in flowing cursive with small hearts scattered around it, and thats really all this needs to be. The script has that connected hand-lettered quality, the loops on the L and the e tail both extending out slightly. The hearts are little filled shapes floating at different angles around the word. Two colours only, the hearts in bright red and the script in a deeper shade, so the whole thing reads as one warm romantic piece.

12,087 stitches at the 7.51-inch wide version, density 289, which means its light and runs fast. Digitised in Wilcom with satin stitch on the script and a clean underlay so the lettering stays sharp on cotton jersey. Use a tear-away stabiliser on woven cotton and cutaway on any knit. Add a light topping on terry or fleece or the script fill sinks into the pile. Skip dark fabric, the two-colour layout needs a light background to read properly. The heart scatter placement is loose enough that the design doesnt feel overcrowded at the smaller 3.51-inch size.

I get asks about this one fairly often around late January, customers picking it up for school valentines projects or quick gift items they need before the 14th. Its the kind of design that works on a plain white shirt or a tote bag without needing anything else around it. The 2-colour simplicity is genuinely whats made this one popular over time.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine gift tote bags and fabric pouchesCanvas tote in cream at 5 inches; the 2-colour simplicity stitches fast for last-minute Valentine gifts and the result looks considered rather than rushed.
  • Shirt fronts for kids school valentines eventsKids school tee in white jersey, chest placement; parents order this from late January for classroom party outfits.
  • Pillowcases and cushion covers for February decorAnniversary cushion front in cream cotton at 7 inches; the scattered hearts feel less formal than a single large motif.
  • Embroidered patches on denim or canvas itemsDenim jacket pocket patch at 3.5 inches with iron-on backing; small enough to be subtle but the floating hearts register from close up.
  • Wedding or anniversary gift wrapping fabric panelsLinen hoop wall art in a 7-inch frame; the satin script stays sharp enough for a display piece without needing a backing change.
  • Red or white sports socks and wristbandsAnkle sock instep with a stabiliser layer sewn inside the sock first; the 3.5 mini build build fits the ribbed cotton panel cleanly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
