The heart outline isnt a line or a fill, its the word LOVE repeated over and over in different sizes and rotations until together they form the silhouette of a heart. Some of the words run horizontal, some are angled, some are smaller to fill the tighter curves at the top and bottom of the shape. 280 stitches per inch density, 7,895 stitches at 3.49 inches up to 15,685 stitches at 7.47 inches. The lower density is deliberate, the satin columns on each letter group need to stay crisp and separate, too high a density would make the individual letters bleed into each other at the smaller instances.
Press a lightweight backer behind the hooped fabric. Theres alot of short directional satin runs as the letters go down, and you really need the base layer to be dimensionally stable throughout the stitch-out. Avoid stretchy or loosely woven fabric for this one. Tight poplin, quilting cotton, denim, or canvas all handle it well. An inspirational piece like this sells consistently through the year, not just February, which is part of why I keep it non-seasonal.
One customer bought it last autumn for a craft fair and stitched a dozen of them on natural linen pillow covers using charcoal thread. Said it was her best seller of the whole weekend, outsold everything else she brought. Use the 7.47 inch size for a bold centred statement on a throw pillow or framed hoop wall piece. The 3.49 inch size works well as a chest placement on a shirt or as a tote bag pocket embellishment.
Pick any thread colour you like, the word art reads well in red, navy, black, charcoal, forest green, blush pink, or even a tonal tone-on-tone on a slightly darker fabric. Pair it with a plain hemmed linen square and a bamboo hoop for a fast and giftable wall hanging. Dont overthink the colour, almost anything works here.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
