Magical christmas unicorn, 8 colours, forward-facing portrait. The face looks straight at you with long curled lashes, eyes closed in that peaceful kawaii expression. A red santa hat sits at an angle and out of the very tip a tiny christmas tree is growing, small yellow and green ornament balls on its branches. The mane sweeps out from the sides in wide S-curves with round ornament bulbs hanging on thin strings woven through the flow. A spray of holly sits behind one ear and the horn pushes through the hat fabric at the front. Busy composition but nothing fights for space.
8 colours in a sensible sequence: cream face first, then red hat, deep green mane and tree, yellow star and bulbs, purple swirl accents, black lash linework last. My friend stitched this on a white sweatshirt last november and messaged saying it came out exactly like the preview, which doesnt always happen with 8-colour designs so I was proper chuffed. Use tearaway under woven fabrics, medium cutaway on knit blanks. Stitch count runs from 11k at 3.5 inches up to 27k at 7.5 inches, light for an 8-colour design which means fast turnaround on a batch.
Good for girls xmas gifts and kids holiday items. Stitch on white, pink, grey or soft lavender fabric for the best colour pop. Skip dark backgrounds because the cream face area needs contrast to read properly. DM me if a file doesnt work and Ill get a replacement out same day.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Girls Christmas sweatshirts and hoodies as holiday giftsCentre the 5-inch on a white or pink sweatshirt, red hat and green mane pop without any contrast backing
- Kids Christmas pyjama tops for a unicorn fanUse tearaway on a PJ top blank at the chest, lighter stitch count finishes fast on a batch of 10
- Pink or white Christmas stockings with a fantasy themeStitch centred on a white velvet stocking, the portrait proportions fill the stocking face cleanly
- Holiday tote bags for a daughter or niecePop the 4-inch on a canvas tote in natural or white, works as a christmas gift bag for girls
- Personalised Christmas pillowcases for a girls bedroomPlace centred on a pillowcase blank, the closed-eye lashes give it a dreamy look for a kids room
- Festive patch blanks for iron-on hair accessories or bag badgesStitch small on felt and sew onto a headband, the red hat reads as christmas even at 3 inches
- Christmas classroom gifts like pencil case frontsUse on a zip pencil pouch front at 3.5 inches, the wide format fits the pouch face well

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
