The deer head is a full frontal portrait, antlers spreading wide and symmetrically above a calm dignified face. Nine colours total, warm tan and rust on the fur, dark brown in the shadow areas, the kind of tonal layering that gives this its depth. Its not a cartoon deer, its closer to a wildlife illustration, the sort of thing that looks right on a flannel shirt or a cabin-style throw pillow.
62,172 stitches at the 6.78-inch wide size, density running at 1,223 which is on the heavier end. Use a cutaway stabiliser without question here, the stitch count will pull a lighter stabiliser off grain. Digitised in Wilcom with directional satin on the antler shafts and layered fill for the fur sections, colour sequencing is set up to avoid unnecessary thread changes mid-section. Hoop it tight, and add a topping on anything with nap or pile. Skip the topping on smooth cotton, its not needed there.
I had a customer email me last autumn saying she put the 4-inch version on a flannel hunting shirt as a chest patch and her husband wore it the same week. Five sizes from 3.17 inches to 6.78 inches wide. Email me if you run into any issue with the files and Ill get back to you same day.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Flannel hunting shirts and outdoor jacketsFlannel hunting shirt chest patch at 4 inches with iron-on cutaway; a customer emailed me to say her husband wore it the same week she gifted it.
- Rustic cabin decor items like throw pillows and wall art panelsOatmeal linen throw pillow on a cabin sofa; the warm brown and rust tones work naturally against undyed textile.
- Camouflage or khaki tote bags for outdoor marketsCanvas tote in khaki or olive for an outdoors-market seller; the 5-inch version fits the front panel without crowding the handles.
- Wildlife-themed hats and beaniesStructured tan cap front with the 3.17-inch build; the symmetrical antlers sit evenly inside a 4-inch cap hoop.
- Mens gift items like embroidered pouches and walletsLeather diary cover stitched before binding; the wildlife portrait gives it the kind of quality that looks hand-commissioned.
- Autumn seasonal merchandise for craft fairsAutumn craft stall wall art on cream linen squares in clip frames; the rustic-cabin aesthetic travels well in that retail setting.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
