Two giraffes, 5 colours and that amber-and-orange spotted colouring you instantly recognise. The mama arches her long neck into a big downward loop and the baby stands right underneath looking back up at her. Its one of those compositions that just works, you get the full towering height of the tall giraffe AND the tiny rounded proportions of the newborn in the same frame without it feeling cramped.
Mama has a cluster of pink and dark magenta flowers tucked right where the ears start, and little decorative swirl curls run along the ridge of her neck from top to bottom. The body fills in with the classic amber yellow base and big rounded orange spots, all outlined in black so every edge reads clean even at the 5-inch size. Baby has the same colouring but the proportions are rounder and wider, the way a newborn animal always looks kinda soft and unfinished in the best way.
A customer hooped the 7-inch on fleece-backed nursery blanket fabric last spring for a baby shower gift and it came out exactly how youd want it. The orange spots stayed crisp and the flowers didnt lose definition at all. Five colours means five thread changes but the stop sequence is straightforward: pink first, then dark magenta, then the two yellows, then black last for all the outlines and detail work.
Stitch on white, cream, pale mint or soft grey for cleanest read. Add a cutaway stabiliser on stretchy nursery fabrics or fleece so the trims dont pull underneath. Use a light tearaway on quilting cotton or poplin. Best at 6 or 7 inch where the flower detail on the head holds properly without overcrowding. Skip dark or busy backgrounds because the amber fill relies on contrast to pop.
Density sits around 24k stitches on the 8-inch and under 14k on the smallest size. Hoop snug, run at medium speed and check the first colour stop before continuing. Hit me on chat if anything looks off and Ill sort it same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
