The word Mama is written out in big chunky cursive script and theres a full bow sitting on the left where the M starts, those layered ribbon arcs stacked on each other like an actual tied gift bow. The lettering leans slightly right the way real handwriting does, not perfectly upright. Small heart accents dot the end of the a letters, just lil details that make it feel personal and not at all mass-produced.

Colour-wise its 4 threads: a bright red base, dark red for the shadows inside the bow arcs, white for the highlight that gives the ribbon its rounded look, and black for the outline edges. And honestly that combination just pops on almost any light fabric. Orders for this one flood in the weeks leading up to mothers day but people buy it for birthday tees and general mum gifts year-round aswell.

Stitch this on a white linen tee or a cream canvas tote. Use a cutaway stabiliser rather than tearaway, the density on the bow sections runs above 1,000 and it will pucker on stretch fabric if youre not careful. Skip jersey here unless you back it with a heavy cutaway. Nine sizes from 1.92 inches up to 4.09 inches wide give ya a chest-pocket size all the way up to a full front placement. One customer ordered all nine sizes in one go last year for a tiered product range, everything from bib patches to full sweatshirt fronts.

The bow runs 32k stitches on the biggest size, around 14.5k on the smallest. Wilcom digitised the satin columns with directional underlay so the sheen reads as a three-dimensional bow once stitched. But slow your machine down on the small sizes, the lettering strokes get narrow and you want clean bobbins on those. Pick a stabiliser that matches your fabric weight and youre good.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
