This one made me laugh when I first digitised it. Its the classic mum progression everybody knows: Mama when theyre tiny, Mommy when they want something, Mom when theyre a teenager, and then Bruh when all pretence is gone. Four words stacked in big bold lettering, each one dropping the warmth by about a degree. The whole thing runs from 4.01 inches up to 8.01 inches wide so you can stitch it alot of different scales depending on what youre putting it on.
The file runs 20,265 stitches at the small end and climbs to 43,508 at the large size, and theres 7 thread colours in the sequence. I used dense satin fill on the main letterforms and a directional underlay to keep the fabric from puckering underneath. Medium cutaway stabiliser is what I hooped it with during testing and the registration stayed clean across all five sizes. The colour sequence is set up so you dont have to trim between every single word, which saves machine time.
Last mothers day a customer ordered it in the biggest size for a natural canvas tote and sent me a photo. It came out really well on the heavy cotton. The satin stitching just pops on something that weight. Pair it with medium-weight woven fabric and youre gonna get the cleanest result. Skip thin jersey if you can because the density at 866 will drag the knit a bit. Use a topping layer if you do go knit though and itll be fine.
Stitch it on an apron, a sweatshirt, a tote, or honestly just a canvas panel to frame. The joke lands every time. Holler at me if anything in the file isnt working and Ill sort it out.
