Just the word Mama. Big loopy cursive, one colour, job done. The capital M has this tall dramatic ascender that kinda sweeps up before it rolls into the rest of the letters. The whole thing leans forward slightly like real handwriting. Simple but it works on basically everything, which is exactly why I keep getting orders for this one.
One colour thread, no colour changes, 3 trims. Stitch counts go from 1,984 on the 3-inch up to 6,382 on the 8-inch, so even the big size stitches quick. Thats the good thing about clean script designs, they dont eat your time. Machine format is Tajima, digitised in Wilcom, and the satin columns on the letter strokes come out nice and consistent all the way through.
Six sizes from 3 inches wide to 8 inches, so ya can put this on pretty much anything. The 3-inch fits neat on a hat or a pocket. Five or 6 inches lands well on a canvas tote or sweatshirt chest. The big 8-inch is really for blankets or the back of a denim jacket. I've had customers use this on bridesmaid gifts, mothers day tees, baby blankets, all sorts, and last december I got an order for it on a gift set of 12 pouches which was a first.
Skip topping on woven cotton and linen, the script reads clean without it. Use a light tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabrics, switch to cutaway if youre hooping jersey or fleece so the underlay doesnt pull the letters out of shape. Slow your machine speed slightly for the fine connector paths on the m and a.
Drop me a note if the satin stitch pulls or looks uneven on your first stitch-out and I'll check the file settings for your machine type.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
