Heres the mermaid sat right inside a martini glass like its her personal hot tub. Teal tail flicks up over the rim with a curve at the fin. Blue hair piled up like a wave, peach-toned skin, leaning on the glass edge with a cheeky grin. The aqua liquid swirls in the bowl with little white highlights catching the light.

Ten colours layer here. Teal and navy shape the tail, aqua plus a brighter pale blue carry the cocktail liquid, peach and cream do the skin, ivory glints highlight the glass, and black ink outlines lock the cartoon shape. The stem of the martini glass tapers down with a small puddle reflection at the base.

Stitch range goes from 9k stitches on the smallest 3.5-inch hoop up to 23k on the 7.5-inch version. Density is light at around 779 spi which is realy easy on lighter fabrics. My customer who plans bachelorette parties reordered this 8 times last summer for matching cabana totes.

Pop on cream linen, oat canvas, ivory cotton, pale pink, or a soft butter yellow. The teal tail wants a quiet ground to bounce off. Skip patterned cloth too, and pass on deep midnight blue cloth because the navy outline of the tail merges with deep blue background. Skip terry cloth aswell, the fine glass-stem detail dont read on towel-loop fabric.

Use a tear-away stabiliser on woven cotton or canvas, you wont need full cutaway here because density is moderate. On stretch jersey switch to cutaway plus a no-show mesh underlay. Hoop snug, take the speed slow across the tail-fin scale satin runs, those long runs across the bowl need clean tension. Send a quick request through the contact form if formats fail to load.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
