The black stethoscope tubes loop up and around to form a heart shape, with Merry and Bright written in cursive script inside the curve, one word in red and one in green. Sitting on the top right is a lil gingerbread man with green candy buttons and a holly sprig next to him. The red earbud piece hangs down at the bottom of the heart. Its 7 colours total and the combination of the black medical grey stethoscope against that festive script really works.
5 sizes here, going from 3.5 inches wide up to 7.51 inches, with stitch counts between 7,446 and 17,567. Density is 363 which keeps it managable on most wovens. Layer a soft cutaway for knit scrubs and a tearaway for cotton twill. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio set the colour order for me so the stethoscope body stitches first, then the script, then the gingerbread details last so everything sits on top of each other cleanly.
Honestly this is one of those designs that realy delivers as a gift. One customer last christmas ordered the 5 inch version on burgundy scrubs for her whole nursing team of nine and said the handmade personalised feel made them feel special in a week that was anything but easy. Thats the kind of use case I had in mind when I was building this.
Stitch on white, grey, black, or navy scrubs and the design reads loud and clear. Skip very pale pink or the red script may not separate well. Use a lightweight cutaway to keep the satin script columns clean and run a slow speed on the lettering sections to avoid thread breaks.
