The letters take up most of the space and theyre chunky, rounded, very satisfying satin-fill red. Merry sits on top in a slightly tighter script and christmas sprawls below it with those long looping descenders that give the whole thing a hand-lettered warmth. Above it all two black antlers curl outward and upward from the centre, each branch strung with coloured fairy light bulbs in yellow, green, blue, and red. Not overloaded, just enough to read as festive from a distance.
Five colours at 18k stitches on the largest 5.29-inch size, dropping to just under 8k at the smallest 2.47 inches. Wilcom did the satin columns on the letters in a single-layer underlay which keeps the red fill crisp and prevents the colour from sinking into the fabric. The antler linework is cord-style satin, and the light bulbs are small padded satin shapes. Pair tearaway with medium cutaway on the back for the letter density. Stitch on white, cream or light grey fabric. If youre running it on jersey, go with a firm cutaway instead. Skip dark backgrounds where the black antlers disappear and you dont get the contrast.
I suprised myself how often this gets ordered for things beyond christmas jumpers. I get messages from ski lodge owners, market vendors, and craft teachers basically every november asking about it. A lodge cafe near us puts it on canvas bags for their december pop-up every year, and theyre always sold out of em by december 20th. Craft market vendors also grab the 2.47-inch size for greeting card inserts. Pop the large 5.29-inch size on a sweatshirt chest and the small size on a card panel in the same session. Red and black palette holds on white, cream, and mid-grey without losing punch. Text me or leave a note at checkout if you want a specific size resent and Ill get it sorted before end of day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
