Sometimes you just want the words on the thing and you want them to look good. This is Merry Christmas in festive lettering with a small Santa hat sitting at one end of the text and some sparkling accent details around the letters. The lettering style has a warm hand-drawn quality to it without going fully script, so it reads clearly at a glance but doesnt look like a corporate font either. The Santa hat is small and sits naturally at the letter M like it belongs there. Clean, seasonal, readable from across the room. This is the kind of design thats genuinely useful across a huge range of projects.

Comes in one size at 3.51 x 2.73 inches with 9,105 stitches. Thats a very modest stitch count for the size which makes it a fast stitch and easy to batch if you're making multiple items as Christmas gifts. Density is light to moderate so it wont stiffen lighter fabrics like linen or quilting cotton. Tearaway on wovens, lightweight cutaway on stretch. Hoop firmly and center the text block before running, text placement needs to be right or it looks off even if the stitch quality is perfect.

This gets used on Christmas sweatshirts, kitchen towels, stockings, tote bags, and just about everything else Christmas-related. A customer making gifts for her whole extended family used it to batch-stitch a dozen cotton kitchen towels in a weekend and said it was genuinely fast and easy at that stitch count. Works equally well as a stocking cuff embellishment or a small pocket design on a childs Christmas outfit.

Drop me a message if you need the text in a different font style and Ill sort it out fast.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas sweatshirt chestChest of a red or green sweatshirt in white or gold thread, this is the go-to fast Christmas garment project for gift batches.
  • Cotton kitchen towel Christmas giftWhite or cream cotton kitchen towel with red thread lettering is a classic handmade Christmas hostess gift that people actually use.
  • Christmas stocking cuffAlong the cuff of a hand-sewn Christmas stocking in contrasting thread, this adds a readable personal touch to a keepsake item.
  • Tote bag holiday giftCentered on the front of a natural canvas tote, this makes a simple but cheerful reusable Christmas gift bag.
  • Kids Christmas outfit pocketPocket or chest design on a kids Christmas dress or shirt, the small size means it doesnt overpower a small garment.
  • Linen table napkin cornerCorner of a linen table napkin stitched in red or gold thread looks refined and seasonal on a Christmas dinner table.
  • Canvas gift bag frontFront of a small fabric gift bag used for wrapping small Christmas gifts, the lettering turns the bag into part of the present.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
