Merry Christmas in flowing script lettering with a decorative star accent sitting above the text. Just 3 thread colors which keeps this fast and clean. 4 sizes, widest at 6.5 inches and around 37,000 stitches on the largest, density at 904 so its not punishing on older machines. The lettering has slight swash curves at the tails and the star has fully-filled satin points rather than that flat outline look you get on budget designs.

Run it on a medium stabiliser for wovens like cotton twill or linen, tearaway works fine for standard fleece. Actually this one is forgiving enough that Ive run it on felt without stabiliser for ornament-style pieces and it held shape. The 3-color simplicity means color changes are minimal, so its a good one to batch-run if you're doing multiple holiday gifts in a row. Stitch on red fabric and use white or cream for the lettering thread and you get a whole different festive look.

One customer wrote me last december asking for personalised christmas pillowcases and table runners more than anything else recently. I also get requests for it on stocking panels and tree skirts. Pop it on a natural linen table runner at 6.5 inches and it looks genuinely expensive. Dm me if you need help picking sizes for your project

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas table runners and linen centrepiecesThe clean script reads beautifully at 6.5 inches on natural linen for a table runner centrepiece.
  • Holiday pillowcases and cushion cover setsStitch onto a white cotton pillowcase for a classic Christmas bedroom set.
  • Personalised christmas stockings and tree skirtsWorks well on canvas stocking blanks; the 3-color stop count keeps production runs fast.
  • Festive tea towel and kitchen textile setsPairs with a red or plaid background for tea towels in holiday kitchen gift sets.
  • Gift bag decoration and fabric gift wrap panelsScale down to 3.5 inches for small fabric gift tags or wine bottle gift bags.
  • Holiday sweatshirt and t-shirt customisationThe minimal 3-color palette keeps it clean against most sweatshirt colors including navy and forest green.
  • Christmas ornament fabric inserts and hoop artAt smaller sizes the star accent reads clearly in hoop art or framed holiday ornament pieces.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
