Sat down with the idea of a Merry Christmas star wreath and this is what came out of it. The frame is built from five-pointed gold stars arranged in a ring with sage green sprigs of greenery tucked between them. Its not a typical leaf wreath, the stars do most of the structural work and the greenery fills the gaps rather than leading. Across the lower centre of the ring runs "Merry Christmas" in cream lettering, slightly arched to follow the wreath curve. 3 colours, warm and traditional without being generic. Suprised by how well it reads on red pillow fabric.
Digitised through Wilcom EmbroideryStudio with the density sitting at 811. Four sizes: 4.46" x 4.5" up to 7.43" x 7.5". Stitch counts go from 26428 to 45182. The larger 7.43" size runs about 35-45 minutes on a home machine. Cutaway stabiliser is the right call here, the star satin fill and the curved lettering both need a firm base. Add topping film over the script sections on any textured fabric like dupioni or rough canvas so the text stays sharp. On a smooth red cotton or poplin you can skip the topping, its overkill.
One customer grabbed the 7.43" size for a set of red throw pillow covers, she said she was gonna do a matching set of 4. I get messages about this one every november when people are planning their christmas sewing stacks. People have run it on tree skirt panels, table runner centres, and ive had a few put it on stockings in the 4.46" version. The gold star detail really shows against dark fabrics, red, navy, forest green. Dont put it on light coloured fabric where the gold wont contrast, it loses alot of the impact.
Stitch the gold stars first, then the sage greenery, then the cream lettering last so any minor registration drift doesnt affect the most visible element. Use a size 75 needle on smooth cotton and check your bobbin thread matches the back of your project since this design runs long. Pick your hoop size before you start, the 7.43" needs at least a 8x8 hoop and the 4.46" fits a standard 5x5 without issue.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
