A kinda small Santa face, round and friendly looking, the kind you can scatter across something or use as a compact accent on a shirt collar or cuff. Red hat with the white trim rolled up at the brim, big fluffy white beard covering most of the lower face, round rosy cheeks, and a warm expression that doesnt come across as cartoonish or cheap. Seven colours handle all the face, beard and hat detail.
Stitch counts go from 9,189 at the smallest to 27,817 on the largest, with a really really reasonable density of 611 per square inch which makes this one of the easier santa designs to stitch without fighting your machine. The lower density means it sits well on lighter fabrics without puckering, and the satin areas on the hat and beard come out smooth and clean.
I made this one because customers kept asking for a santa design that wasnt huge and imposing, something you could pop in a smaller spot without it taking over the whole garment. It works well as a repeat across a fabric panel or stocking. My shop did a bunch of personalised stockings last christmas with this on the cuff section, and people really responded to the small friendly face rather than a full-body santa scene.
Five sizes from 2.84 inches wide up to 6.07 inches. The smaller sizes work on cuffs, collar points and pocket squares without needing a full hoop-and-frame setup. Use cutaway stabiliser on fleece or jersey, tearaway on woven cotton. The beard area has underlay built in so it stays fluffy-looking rather than flat.
Stitch it on cream, navy, forest green, or red fabric. Avoid white for the white beard areas or theyll disappear. Use a medium speed through the hat brim satin area.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Holiday shirt collar or cuff accentOn a shirt collar point or cuff it adds a subtle holiday detail that reads as festive but not overwhelming.
- Festive repeat pattern on fabric panelsRepeat the small size across a cotton fabric panel for a christmas-themed fabric you sew into bunting or gift wrap.
- Kids christmas sweatshirt small chest accentKids love a small santa face on the chest of a sweatshirt that doesnt look too bold or costume-y for daily wear.
- Christmas pillowcase corner detailStitch in the corner of a pillowcase as a seasonal detail that ties into a christmas bedroom theme.
- Holiday gift tag fabric labelUse the smallest size on a stiff fabric label or tag sewn onto handmade christmas gifts as a personalised touch.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
