This is the pine branch design I always come back to when I want something that feels christmas without being loud about it. The branch itself is solid and full, needles done in satin columns that fan out realistically, and then hanging below it are 9 little ornaments on thin thread lines, each one a different shape. Swirl icicle, heart ball, a round with a tiny christmas tree inside, a star, lantern shape, two kinds of teardrop, a snowflake globe and a dotted teardrop. All of them are just outlines with no fill, so they look almost sketched in.
And because the whole thing is one single dark green thread, theres no colour changes to deal with. Load it, stitch it, done. That also means it reads differently depending on whatever fabric you put it on. Dark green on natural cream linen looks a bit vintage, same design in white thread on dark green fabric flips the whole mood. A customer ordered this around christmas from people asking me if they can change the thread colour on this one and yes, absolutely, the single-thread setup is specifically why thats so easy.
The ornament shapes are small enough that they hold really clean even at the smaller sizes. Biggest version is near 6 inches wide so it fits comfortably as a centred pocket or chest piece. The branch portion is the visual weight of the design so make sure your hoop has a bit of room at the top.
Stitch it on cotton, canvas, linen and most medium-weight woven fabrics. Stick tearaway underneath any woven fabric, cutaway if you're going on a knit or stretch base. Skip sheer or very thin fabrics for the bigger sizes as the dense satin needles can pull. If the file doesnt open right in your software, message me and I'll sort it out. Its usually a format thing and easy to fix.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Holiday tote bagsA medium size centred on a natural canvas tote makes a clean understated holiday bag you can actually use all season.
- Christmas kitchen towelsStitched once along the edge of a plain cotton kitchen towel it turns a basic item into a decent christmas gift.
- Gift wrapping fabric pouchesA smaller size on a muslin drawstring pouch wraps small gifts in a way that feels considered rather than thrown together.
- Linen table runnersRepeated twice at each end of a linen runner it frames a holiday table without competing with candles and centerpieces.
- Seasonal sweatshirtsOn the chest of a cream or oatmeal sweatshirt it does the seasonal thing without being too much.
- Tree skirt corner accentOne version stitched into the corner of a plain felt tree skirt ties the base of the tree together nicely.
- Christmas pillow coversCentred on a natural or white pillow cover it keeps the seasonal decor simple and easy to swap out after january.
- Reusable gift bagsStitched on a small cotton drawstring bag these make great reusable gift wrapping, especially for bottles or candles.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
