Came up with this one for customers who want a sun design without all the extra noise. Single colour, no outlines, no face, no clouds, kinda just the pure sun shape. The centre disc is tatami-filled orange and the rays spread outward in slightly irregular pointed shapes so its not a perfectly mechanical starburst but its not messy either. The whole design reads as a warm confident silhouette.

One colour only, zero colour changes, which means this is really really quick to set up and run. Five sizes from about 2 inches up to 6 inches square. Stitch count starts at 2,816 on the smallest and reaches 15,460 on the large, all of it in a single orange thread. Its kinda the design you reach for when you want something that takes 10 minutes to run and still looks intentional.

I use this one a fair bit for orders where someone wants a sun motif but doesnt specify a style, because its neutral enough to fit on athleisure, boho linen pieces, coastal casual wear and even kids stuff. A customer ordered it for a small accessory brand last autumn, she put the 3 inch onto cream linen pouches and told me it realy sold out fast at her market stall.

Back woven cotton or linen with tearaway stabiliser. Use cutaway under any knit or fleece. The fill is moderately dense so stick to a fabric that can hold the stitch without distorting at the centre.

Looks strongest on white, cream, navy, charcoal and olive backgrounds. Try it as a pocket detail on a denim shirt or linen jacket. Skip very busy prints since this design needs a clean background to read clearly.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
