Honestly I was suprised how much traction this one got when I first listed it. Its a single-colour christmas tree done in a clean line art style, just the outline of a classic triangle tree with those simple horizontal strokes for branches. No baubles, no star, no fill. Just the shape, standing tall and narrow.

At its narrowest its only 1.3 inches wide which made it tricky to digitise cleanly at small sizes, but the satin lines hold their crispness all the way down. Five sizes total, ranging from 1.3 by 3.5 inches up to 2.75 by 7.5 inches. Long and thin. Perfect for sleeve placement or a row of trees across a hemline.

One colour, one thread, no colour changes to manage. Stitch count goes from around 6,600 stitches at the smallest up to 14,400 at the largest. Use a tearaway stabiliser on woven fabrics and cutaway if youre stitching on jersey or fleece.

A customer last christmas ordered a set of matching table napkins with a small tree stitched in the corner of each one and said her guests kept complimenting the understated look. Elegant simplicity. Clean enough for someone who doesnt want a loud holiday look on their home goods.

Try it stacked in a row along a sleeve, or repeat 3 trees across the front of a tote. Works great on linen, cotton and canvas. Text me if you run into trouble on the download and ill get it sorted.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Minimalist Christmas table linen setsStitch a small version in the corner of a set of linen napkins for a minimal holiday table setting that looks intentional and clean.
  • Modern holiday tote bagsA row of 3 trees across the front of a natural canvas tote gives a Scandinavian-style holiday gift bag without looking busy.
  • Scandinavian-style Christmas stockingsThe narrow shape fits neatly along the length of a Christmas stocking leg for a modern decoration that avoids the usual kitschy look.
  • Festive sleeve accents on sweatshirtsUse the 1.3 inch narrow version to stitch a vertical accent on a sleeve cuff for a subtle festive detail on a plain sweatshirt.
  • Winter home decor hoop artStitch a large version on stretched linen in a wooden embroidery hoop for wall decor that works through January without looking out of place.
  • Subtle holiday gift wrapping fabricOn lightweight cotton gift wrap fabric the tree pattern creates a simple repeating holiday wrap that feels premium and handmade.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
