Its a single eye in profile, left-facing, with a heavy fringe of upper lashes and lighter lower lashes fanning out below. Then from the outer corner a large feather shape extends sideways and slightly upward like the lashes just kept going and turned into plumage. The iris has a light grey flat fill, everything else is black line stitching. That feather element is what makes the whole design. Without it its a nice eye, with it its actually a really considered piece of fashion illustration.

Two colours. One stop. Just 3,227 stitches on the smallest 1.68-inch and up to 7,237 on the largest 3.64-inch wide version. Low density at 265 which means it stitches fast and sits flat without any puckering drama. The fine lines need a steady machine and a sharp needle, I use a 75/11 on this type of work. Tearaway stabiliser is gonna be enough on most fabrics since the stitch count is genuinely light.

Makeup studio owners and beauty brand people are who I mostly get messages from about this one. One customer ordered it in december for a set of black canvas makeup bags as stockist gifts, ran it small on the front pocket, looked like it belonged on a high-end brand product honestly. Thats the design that surprised me most in terms of where it landed.

Stitch on black, navy, charcoal, cream or white. The two-colour simplicity works on almost anything except busy pattern. Pop it on a denim shirt sleeve for a quiet fashion moment. Use the smallest 1.68-inch on a compact mirror sleeve, a hair clip base, or a ribbon. Pair it with text on a makeup artist apron front. Avoid anything too textured, the fine lash lines need a flat smooth ground to read clearly. Keep bobbin tension just right here, the satin linework will show any inconsistency.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
