Seven butterflies, each one in flight, arranged so they form the shape of a heart when you step back. The composition has the two biggest butterflies at the top sides of the heart, medium ones along the curve, and a smaller one pointing downward at the bottom tip. Each butterfly has its own delicate wing vein lines worked in with fine satin detail, so they dont read as flat blobs. All 1 colour, red throughout. No fill, just the outline and vein structure, which means the fabric colour underneath shows through the wing panels and becomes part of the design itself.
Thats actually what makes this one flexible. Stitch it in red on white cotton and you get a clean look that works for winter gifting. But run it in navy on cream linen and its a botanical wall piece. Switch to white thread on black denim and it goes completely different. The design really adapts. 9 sizes, 3.43 inches wide at smallest, 7.34 inches wide at biggest, stitch count from 12,730 up to 28,040.
I been selling this one since early spring and I get messages asking if its ok on jersey. It is, but use a cutaway stabiliser not tearaway on stretch fabric. The butterflies need the backing to stay flat when the hoop releases. One customer told me she stitched this in burgundy on a champagne satin clutch bag for a wedding and it looked gorgeous. I wouldnt have thought of that but it makes total sense.
Try it in coral on white linen for spring. Use it in white on black canvas for autumn. Avoid really busy patterned fabric because those open wing windows need a clear ground to read properly. Keep bobbin tension even, the fine satin veins will show any inconsistency on the back. Ping me if the file size you need isnt behaving and Ill send a revised version directly.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
