The face is mostly suggestion. Thin black lines trace the jaw, cheekbone and nose, and then the hair just falls away in those long flowing strands that spread out below. Its the makeup that does the talking, a red lip that hits in full satin fill, a pink eyeshadow block above the eye, and a tiny brown iris dot. Four colours, 4 colour changes, but the run is still really tidy because its only 3,146 stitches at the smallest size and goes up to 6,347 at the 8 inch.
The stitch width on the hair strands is the clever part. The digitiser ran them as individual directional lines rather than satin columns, so they lay flat without any of that bunching you sometimes get on long hair designs. That lip section uses a satin column fill so its slightly raised and glossy-looking compared to the flat line work around it. Thats the kind of detail that takes alot of digitising skill to get right at this scale.
Earlier this year a customer who runs a lash studio asked me about this one, she ended up putting it on aprons for her staff and the lipstick red against the black uniform looked brilliant. Use a light cutaway on woven cotton and a topping sheet on any stretchy fabric to stop those individual hair lines sinking into the fabric loops. Stitch on pale or white fabric so the red lip has maximum contrast and doesnt disappear into the background. Skip dark or patterned bases entirely on this one.
Ping me on here if youre having trouble with the hair strand tension on your test hoop and Ill walk you through the bobbin settings that fixed it for another buyer.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
