Its basically a fine ink drawing done in thread, 3 colours total, five sizes, and its doing it properly.

A woman shown from the waist up, head turned downward, eyes closed. Her hair is long and loose, falling to one side in a way that takes real draughtsmanship to get right. Linework through the hair uses tight directional rows that shift angle every few millimetres so it reads as flowing rather than flat. Her clothing has a soft floral pattern suggested in the fabric, just enough detail to give texture without pulling focus. Shes got both hands raised, cupped gently, and sitting in her palms is a lotus flower in full bloom. Thats the only colour accent in the whole piece, warm golden-yellow, petals fanning open in layered satin stitches while the rest is grey and near-black thread. Its a genuinely good use of a single colour pop and I dont think ive seen it done this cleanly at this price.

Stitch count runs from 16k at the smaller sizes up to just under 29k at 5.75 inches wide, which is low density for this level of detail because its all fine running-stitch line work, not dense fill. Five sizes from 2.68 by 3.5 inches up to 5.75 by 7.5. One customer ordered last christmas and she told me she stitched it on tote bags for her yoga studio front desk team, said it matched the whole look without being obvious about it.

Pick a smooth tightly woven cotton or a quality linen blend. Avoid loose weaves or anything with surface pile. Wash-away or tearaway stabiliser both work depending on the fabric weight. Hoop firmly. If the fine hair lines look ragged after stitching, check your needle is fresh and your thread tension is set right for the light run-stitch passes.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
