I started digitising this one back in march after I kept getting asked for a rainbow that wasnt, like, neon kids-room vibes. People wanted something they could actually put on an adult sweatshirt without it looking juvenile. So thats the design, a modern arch rainbow in 4 colours, 4607 stitches, coming in at 3.5 inches wide. The density is 68, which is on the lower side, and that keeps it looking light and airy on fabric rather than stiff.
Digitised in Wilcom with solid underlay work. I ran it on cotton jersey and a mid-weight linen and both came out clean without any puckering. Back with heavyweight cutaway on knits, stabiliser topping if youre running it on toweling or fleece. Stick with 40wt thread for the satin passes, the bands are directional fills and heavier thread blurs the edges abit.
And Im gonna be honest, 4 colours in a low-density design means its genuinely one of the faster ones to stitch. No complicated colour changes, no trims between bands to deal with. Stitch it on a tote, pop it on a left-chest sweatshirt, run it on a pillow cover, all easy. One customer ordered it last april for a set of tea towels for a housewarming gift and said it came out exactly as she hoped, really really minimal and clean.
Skip polyester satin if you want the muted boho palette to read true, that fabric tends to make colours look shinier than they are. Run it on natural fibres and the earthy tones stay earthy. Holler if you have questions, happy to help you get it right on your machine.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
