The tree shape is made of lights, nothing else. No branches, no needles drawn in, no trunk at the base. Just rows of string lights looped tighter at the top and spreading wider down to the bottom, so the bulbs themselves create the triangular silhouette. Its a really clever construction and Im honestly still pleased with how clean it reads at small sizes.
Eight colours in the file and Wilcom EmbroideryStudio handled each bulb as its own satin column with underlay underneath so they stay round after washing. The star at the top gets a slightly larger treatment so it reads clearly even on the 3.5-inch version. Stitch count goes from 5k on the smallest all the way to 10k at the 7.5-inch size, which makes this one of the lighter files in the Christmas range, great for layering or adding text below later.
Someone pinged me asking if this could work on a dark navy sweater and honestly thats where it shines brightest. Those coloured satin bulbs on a deep navy ground look like actual lights glowing. I tried it on black fleece aswell and the effect was really really good. I get messages from people doing christmas family matching sets with this one, they put it on navy shirts for the adults and white onesies for the babies and it just works on both. Light fabrics work too but dark is where this specific design comes alive.
Five sizes from 3.51 to 7.51 inches wide and 1.95 to 4.17 inches tall, so its wider than tall, which means it sits nicely on a chest pocket or a onesie front without running into collars. Use cutaway stabiliser on stretch fabrics, tear-away on stable wovens. Skip topping on smooth cotton but add it on fleece or terry so the light bulbs dont disappear into the pile. Ping me if anything looks off and Ill fix it same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
