Mother's Day is the one time of year where people dont want a gift card. They want something that took time. Best Mom Ever has that direct message built right into the design: bold hot pink satin lettering for "Mom" right in the centre, "Best" in flowing charcoal grey cursive above it, "Ever" in that same grey script curling underneath. Three small hearts in light pink and hot pink float around the lettering at different sizes, and at the base theres a trio of flowers: a blush pink on the left, periwinkle blue in the centre, purple on the right, each with a yellow gold satin centre and teal leaves fanning out either side. Its a lot going on but the charcoal grey pulls everything into line so it doesnt read as chaotic.

Ive run this across cotton twill, canvas, fleece and denim and its clean on all of them. Hoop with a cutaway stabiliser on anything stretchy so those big pink letters stay crisp and dont pucker when the hoop releases. The directional stitching on "Mom" catches light at every angle, which in person looks gorgeous from across a table. Pop a white bobbin thread in if youre stitching on cream linen or natural canvas so nothing shadows through the fill. Stitch the flower cluster at a slower speed if your machine pulls dense work, thats where the highest density lives in this file, around the 8,700 stitch mark on the smallest 3.4 inch size.

A crafter I know used the 5 inch on natural linen aprons last spring and sold out before noon at her market stall. Canvas totes, sweatshirts, tea towels, framed hoops. Use the 3.5 inch on a baby onesie front with light tearaway so the jersey doesnt drag at the heart edges. Centre the design with the flower spray sitting just above a hem or pocket fold so the text reads clean at standing height. Skip topping on woven fabrics like twill or canvas since the dense satin fill lays flat without it.

Shoot me a message if your format isnt in the pack.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Mothers Day gift tote bagA buyer put this on her natural canvas tote last spring and gifted a set of three to her sisters.
  • Sweatshirt or hoodie chestThe 7 inch on a fleece hoodie chest gets every eye in the room, especially that hot pink and charcoal combo.
  • Kitchen tea towel or linen clothLinen tea towels show the charcoal and pink off brilliantly against undyed natural cloth.
  • Baby onesie or toddler teeOnesie fronts sit best at 3.5 inches on cutaway so the jersey doesnt drag at the heart details.
  • Apron front panelAn apron front panel in cotton twill is my favourite use for this, the satin fill on Mom really catches the light.
  • Canvas market bagTote bags take the 5 inch nicely, centred with about two inches of clearance at the top handle seam.
  • Throw pillow or cushion coverCushion covers in cream cotton give the full design room to breathe at 6 or 7 inches.
  • Framed hoop art giftStretched in a hoop with linen backing it makes a wall piece a craft shop would charge thirty dollars for.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
