Two hands come in from opposite sides and cup together to hold a black heart in the middle. The hands are done in a detailed sketch style, you can see the finger lines and palm creases rendered in fine black crosshatching, and around the wrists and fingers there are flowers, leaves and curling vines growing outward like the whole thing has taken root. Its a lot of fine detail for a 2-colour design and Wilcom handled the digitising really well across all 5 sizes.
The heart at the center sits heavy with solid black fill, grounded among all that delicate botanical linework around it. Inside the heart, 'Mom' is written in red brush script with a small red decorative curl underneath. So you get this strong contrast, the airy sketchy hands and botanicals outside, the solid black heart, then the warm red lettering inside. Three distinct visual layers and they all work together even on a small 4-inch hoop.
Stitch count runs up to 38k on the 8-inch version, which makes it one of the more complex designs in this range. Tight fine-line crosshatch work like this needs a firm sew-in cutaway stabiliser and careful hooping, dont rush it or the palm detail will look muddy. Use white, cream or pale blush woven cotton and the red script really stands out. Skip anything patterned or dark because the sketchy botanical linework needs negative space to read clearly. Pop the 7 or 8-inch size on a sweatshirt front for a gift that actually gets worn rather than shelved. Last spring I get a steady stream of messages about this one, people really respond to the hands holding the heart and the botanical detail is what makes it memorable. Text me if you have any issues after download and Ill sort it straight away.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
