The words MOM LIFE are stitched in a bold connected script, the letters thick and full with satin column fills in 4 colours running through the design. Wilcom handled the sequencing so the colour transitions dont overlap awkwardly. At the largest 8-inch size this hits 40,984 stitches, and honestly the density sits at 937 which puts it firmly in the complex bracket for machine embroidery typography, but every letter pulls tight and clean without gaps.
Smallest size starts at 4 inches wide and 16,883 stitches. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser underneath, this much fill stitch on anything lighter and youre gonna get shifting. Ive hooped this on sweatshirts, canvas totes and fleece blankets and the one place it really shines is on a chunky cotton hoodie where the satin columns catch the light. A customer messaged me last Mothers Day saying she stitched the 6-inch version on 8 matching totes for her mum's group and every single one came out spot on.
Pick a tearaway only if the base fabric is a stable woven with no give at all. For stretchy knits, stay with cutaway. Drop the two darker thread colours if you want a simpler two-colour version, the file still reads fine.
Add a short name or date underneath in a plain font to make it a personalised Mother's Day gift. Or run the 4-inch on a pocket and the 6-inch on the back of the same jacket.
