Three satin-stitched text blocks, red and white, stacked into a clever visual pun. Top section curves in a thick arch, bold block caps spelling out the first half. Centre sits a flowing cursive word in black with 5 little hearts dotted around it. Bottom section finishes the joke in the same chunky red satin caps, with a small decorative scroll flourish underneath. Read it top to bottom and the wordplay clicks. Its genuinely a bit cheeky for a mothers day design and thats why people keep coming back for it.
Just 2 colours but theres real contrast going on. The chunky satin block caps and the delicate cursive script feel like different worlds sharing the same space. Bold enough to read from across a room, soft enough to feel like a gift rather than a slogan. Stitch range is about 10k on the 4-inch up to 23k on the full 8-inch. Digitised in Wilcom so the satin density is consistent, no thin patches on those big letters near the edges of each section.
I get messages every mothers day from people wanting something a bit funny rather than the usual sentimental stuff. This hits both, it has heart and its got a little wink in it aswell. Last year a customer doing personalised tea towels for a craft fair told me it was her fastest seller of the weekend at 2 quid a pop, which honestly didnt suprised me at all.
Best on white or cream fabric so everything pops clean. Avoid anything darker than a light grey or the red satin loses its punch against the background. Use a tear-away stabiliser on woven cotton twill or linen, the light density and clean lines on this design lift off tear-away just fine. Hoop snug and check that the top arch isnt pulling left before you start stitching.
Add a name or date below the scroll in a separate run if you want to personalise it. Drop me a message if you need the files in a different orientation or want to chat about combining it with another design, Im happy to help out.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
