A mum cradling her sleeping baby against her chest, eyes closed, lashes drawn soft, with a big open flower tucked into the side of her hair. Leaves and a smaller flower curl around the babys body so the whole thing reads like a gentle wreath wrapping the two of them.
Single colour, single thread weight, no fills, just a steady continuous line that flows from the mums hair down through the babys cheek and back up through the leaves. Kinda the modern nursery line art look thats been everywhere on baby shower invites the past 2 years.
I drew this in October after my sister had her second baby. She wanted something for the nursery wall that wasnt a cheesy stork or rainbow. People are buying it for personalised baby keepsakes, push present hoops, mothers day frames, gonna add adoption celebration gifts to that list aswell.
Stitch on cream linen, oatmeal cotton, dusty pink muslin, sage green canvas. Skip dark fabric because the line is fine and gets totally swallowed up. Single colour and only 6,374 to 9,650 stitches across the 11 sizes, so its a quick stitch, kid you not it runs in 12 minutes on a decent machine.
Use a tearaway stabiliser since the design is light and you want a clean back. Pop a topping film if your linen has weave texture, keeps the line crisp. Hoop one of the smaller 4x4 sizes on the corner of a baby blanket and the bigger 7x10 on a wooden hoop wall piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
