The rider leans hard into the bike, helmet down, arms gripping the bars, knees tucked in. Front wheel is lifted, rear planted and kicking up behind it. Black splatter marks explode to the left and diagonal speed lines slash through the background. Its kinda just pure motion, no colour needed. The whole thing is charcoal grey, white and black and that restraint is what makes it so sharp.

3 colours total, 2 colour changes, which sounds simple but the density isnt. 58k stitches on the smallest 5.11-inch and 84k on the biggest at 6.97 by 7.48 inches. Wilcom used tatami underlay on the grey bodywork so the shadow gradients on the riders jacket and helmet read like depth rather than flat blocks. White highlights land on the helmet visor and the bikes fork legs. Black carries the hard outlines and all the motion splatter elements.

I made this one for motorsports merch shops and a couple of motocross clubs customising their own kit. One customer who runs a racing gear supplier put it on their polyester team jerseys and told me last month the stitching held clean through a full muddy race day wash. Thats the sort of thing I wanna hear. Ive also had orders from dirt bike riding schools printing em on student hoodies.

Run this on grey jersey or black canvas depending on the look you want. On grey the tones sit naturally and feel realistic. On black the white highlights pop hard and give it a screenprint feel. Skip anything with texture like towelling or waffle knit because the splatter marks need a flat ground to read clearly. Use a firm mesh cutaway underneath on all 3 sizes, this density will pucker on tearaway.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Motocross club team jersey back panelsStitch the largest 6.97-inch on the back of a grey polyester team jersey and it survives high-heat washing after race days.
  • Dirt bike racing school student hoodiesPop the medium size on a charcoal hoodie for a riding school and add the school name above in block lettering.
  • Motorsports merch canvas tote bagsEmbroider on a black canvas tote for a motorsports merch drop and the monochrome colourway matches any kit colour.
  • Custom riding gear workshop apronsUse the smallest 5.11-inch on a denim apron chest for a bike workshop and frame the torso piece with a thin border.
  • Youth motocross tee shirt graphicsHoop on a black cotton tee for a youth motocross birthday gift and the action lines make it feel genuinely exciting.
  • Sports shop branded staff wearSew the medium version on black fleece staff pullovers for a sports shop and brand it below with the shop name.
  • MX helmet bag embroidery patchesAttach as a sewn patch to an MX gear bag flap using cutaway backing so the edges stay crisp through regular use.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
