Sketched out the lettering on this one to feel like actual hand-calligraphy rather than a printed font. The Mr and Mrs flow into each other through a bold ampersand, and theres a diamond solitaire ring floating above with a cluster of small 6-pointed stars scattered around it. The whole thing is single black thread, no colour changes, so its fast to stitch and the machine barely stops.

One colour, zero colour changes, just 17 trims at the 3.5 in size and 18 at 4.5 in. Stitch count goes from 5,235 at the smallest up to 14,074 at 7.5 in wide. The density sits low at 382 which means the satin and run stitches stay flat without pulling. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio is what I used for this, and the lettering paths minimise jumps across the ampersand join. A standard medium tearaway or light cutaway both work fine, no heavy stabiliser needed.

I get a lot of messages about what to put on wedding gifts when people want something handmade but dont have time to digitise from scratch. This one comes up alot. One customer ordered last autumn, stitched it in gold metallic thread on ivory satin ribbon, tied it around ceremony chair covers and it looked seriously good. The ring graphic above the script reads immediately as a wedding piece without being heavy-handed about it.

Best fabrics are cotton canvas, linen, ivory satin with a backing sheet, or velvet ribbon. Skip thin polyester chiffon as low density files get fiddly on slippery fabric without backing. Add a polymesh topping if youre working on terry towelling. Stitch the 3.5 in size on a pocket corner for a subtle touch, or run the full 7.5 in across a pillowcase front. Pair it with a date hoop below for a personalised wedding anniversary gift.

Email me if you need a size I dont have listed and I can check whats possible.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Wedding ring bearer pillow coversThe ring-and-script composition looks really natural centred on a velvet or linen ring bearer pillow.
  • Bridal table runners and ceremony linensAt 7.5 inches wide it runs nicely across the centre of a cotton table runner for a ceremony or reception table.
  • Couples tote bags and wedding favour pouchesSingle black thread on a natural canvas tote keeps it simple and elegant for a wedding party gift.
  • Bride and groom matching tshirt or hoodie setLow stitch count means it stitches quickly on shirt or hoodie fabric without pulling the knit out of shape.
  • Wedding anniversary card toppers and gift tagsThe smallest 3-in works as a small decorative element on kraft card blanks with a tear-away backing.
  • Bridal shower apron or kitchen linen setStitched on a linen apron in black thread its a clean gift for a couple setting up their first home together.
  • Ivory satin sash or ribbon trim for chair decorGold metallic thread on ivory satin ribbon makes a really elegant chair sash or table edge trim.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
