Sketched this one out as the more vertical and punchy companion to the miss melt designs. MR sits across the top in thick black block caps, then steal dominates the middle section in a big loose red handwriting style, YOUR sits in smaller black block print, and heart finishes it off in red cursive at the bottom with a good sweeping tail. A small love pouch sits at the lower right corner, and mini hearts in two thread colours scatter around the whole composition on thin guide lines, which gives it that connected feel without being cluttered.
Two colours only and Im actually suprised how much punch you get out of just those two threads. The satin columns on the block letters sit tight and flat, the cursive sections use a denser fill so the red thread carries that slightly textured raised look when you hold the finished piece. Thats where the character comes from. Bold print against loose script, its a kinda earned contrast.
Taller than wide at every size, heights run 3.51 to 7.51 inches while widths are narrower at 3.08 to 6.59 inches. That vertical proportion makes it a great fit for tall items like tote bag sides, hoodie fronts, or the front panel of a zip pouch. Stitch counts go from about 10,500 to 24,000. Back the bigger sizes with cutaway to keep the dense satin fill secure. Tearaway works fine on woven cotton for the smaller three sizes. Pair on black or white for best contrast, skip dark burgundy backgrounds where the red script vanishes.
People order this one for valentines day but I get messages saying they use it on everyday stuff too, gym bags, backpack patches, that sort of thing. The two-colour scheme plays well year round and doesnt scream seasonal the way pink heart designs can. Avoid busy patterned fabrics where the fine connecting lines on the scattered hearts get lost.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Valentine's Day shirt or sweatshirt frontsThe tall vertical layout sits well centred on a hoodie front or placed at the upper left chest of a sweatshirt for a bold look.
- Gym bags and sports totesRed and black on a black gym bag or duffel reads strongly and holds up to heavy use on the type of fabric these bags are usually made from.
- Zip pouches and cosmetic bagsA 3-inch version fits neatly on a zip cosmetic pouch making it a quick but thoughtful valentines gift without needing a lot of hoop space.
- Backpack patches on denim or canvasStitched onto a denim patch and ironed or sewn onto a backpack it has that custom merch quality that canvas totes with basic prints dont.
- His and hers gift sets with matching itemsPairs well with a miss melt design for a matching his and hers set, the colour palette is already coordinated between both designs.
- Framed hoop art for a gym or officeMounted in a plain black embroidery hoop this reads almost like a typographic print and works well as decor in a bedroom or lounge.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
