Text design that says My Favorite Color is Christmas, and thats where the tiny string light bulbs come in. The lettering is mixed, some parts in a flowing script style and some in small block caps, and little coloured bulbs dangle off the text at different heights like a real string of lights. Seven colours total with the bulbs in red, green, yellow, blue and orange.

5 sizes from 3.43 inches wide up to 7.36 inches across. Stitch count starts at about 12k on the smallest and goes up to 28k on the largest. The light bulbs add detail but the overall density stays manageable because most of the design is fill lettering rather than heavy satin coverage. Use a tearaway on woven fabrics, the density is light enought for it.

I made this one specificaly for people who want a funny but genuine holiday quote on a shirt or bag. Its not sarcastic, its the kind of thing a christmas enthusist would wear proudly. Looks like a hand-painted slogan. Works especially well on a plain jumper or sweatshirt where theres nothing else competing.

Last november I had a group order for this one from a book club doing christmas party shirts. They wanted something wordy and warm rather than a figure or graphic. Sent me pictures after their party and honestly it looked great on plain cream sweatshirts.

Text me your handle and order number if a colour change sequence looks off and Ill resend the corrected file.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas party sweatshirtsOn a plain cream or oatmeal sweatshirt the mixed lettering and coloured bulbs give a hand-drawn holiday look.
  • Holiday quote tote bagsOn a large canvas tote the 7 inch version fills the front panel and works as a seasonal everyday bag.
  • Festive aprons for christmas bakingStitched on a cotton canvas apron it makes a fun baking accessory for someone who goes all out at christmas.
  • Matching family christmas shirtsMatching family shirts using this design work because the quote is warm enough for all ages from kids to grandparents.
  • Christmas market vendor shirtsVendor shirts for a christmas market stall give the design a real purpose beyond personal use.
  • Pillow cover with holiday quoteA 5 inch version centred on a linen pillow cover makes a fun seasonal swap-out cushion for the sofa.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
