Its a ghost in a nurse outfit holding a syringe, and yes its exactly as fun as it sounds. The ghost body is kept as unstitched white fabric so the character reads immediately without any fill, the details sit on top of that negative space. Nurse cap with a pink cross, teal surgical mask, stethoscope, and a big syringe raised up in both hands like its ready to give someone a very spooky flu shot.
Five colors: two teals for the mask and syringe, pink for the stethoscope and the cap cross, light grey for the bottom shadow that grounds the character, and black for the oval eyes and all the outline work. punched at density 193 which is low because most of the work is in the outline stitching and the small filled accent areas. Thats why the stitch count stays manageable, 4,633 at the smallest and under 10,509 at the full 7.50 x 7.27 inch size.
lay down medium cutaway as backing on any fabric, the satin outlines need a stable base even though the fills are light. Pop a topping on fleece or any textured fabric to keep those thin mask strap lines from disappearing into the pile. Stitch the 3.50 inch version on a sleeve patch or a badge holder panel. Run the large at 7.50 on a shirt front or a canvas tote and it fills the space without competing with anything around it.
Halloween nursing gear is genuinely a niche and this sits right in the middle of it. A customer messaged me last October saying she ran this on scrub tops for her whole unit as a Halloween shift surprise and they loved it. Ive also seen it go on kids halloween costumes for little ones whose parents are in healthcare, which is a cute personalised costume detail that takes about 10 minutes to stitch. Works year round too for anyone who's into the medical kawaii look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
