The heart here is basically a collage of every medical symbol packed together. Stethoscope dead centre. Syringe on the left. Cross symbols scattered through. Capsule pills, a star of life asterisk, little decorative sprigs and scattered dots filling the gaps. Script words woven in through the middle of it all. Care. Compassion. Empathy. Love. Patience. Nurse sits on the left edge in its own bold lettering.

Only 2 colours but they do a lot of work. Red carries the script words and the solid heart at the bottom. Black handles all the outline icons and the EKG heartbeat line that runs across the base of the design. That heartbeat line is the small detail people notice straight away. The medical symbols are all clean outlines so theres no heavy fill sections bogging the design down, which keeps the stitch count manageable at 13k for the smaller 4 inch size and 28k on the 7 inch.

I sell this one year round but nurses week in May is when it really goes crazy. Customers are mostly grabbing it for gifts, my biggest order last nurses week was 14 pieces on white polo shirts for a whole floor of an ICU department. Someone told me they gifted a tote bag version to their mum who was retiring after 32 years in nursing and she cried a bit. Thats the stuff that makes digitising worth it.

White and pale grey are where this design sings. The red and black pop really clean against both. Dont use cream or yellow because the red loses its punch. Works great on cotton, canvas and denim, not so great on fleece or jersey because those fine outline stitches get wobbly on stretchy fabric.

Use cutaway stabiliser on anything that has any give. Hoop tight. Those crisp icon edges need a stable base or they shift during stitching and go soft. 2 thread swaps total so its not a long changeover. Ping me if anything about the file looks off and ill fix it same day.
