Nurse written in flowing connected cursive but with two small details that make it clever. On the left, the opening stroke of the n doesnt just start the letter, it curves up and back into a proper open heart outline. On the right, the trailing end of the e doesnt just stop, it curls into a stethoscope earpiece loop with a little tube hanging down. The design reads like a single flowing word but when you look properly you see the heart and the stethoscope tucked right in.

One colour, all black. Very horizontal design, wide not tall. The script is fine-line running stitch connecting everything so the stitch count is really low, just 2,469 stitches on the smallest 4-inch size and 6,692 on the 10-inch. Seven sizes available from 4 inches tall right up to 10 inches which is good for larger items like tote bags or pillow fronts. Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio, the fine connections between letters are properly handled so they dont break off or float.

This design sells really steadily to people making gifts for nurses. My niece is an ER nurse and she said when I showed her that it was the heart in the n she noticed first. Customers tend to order this for scrubs pockets, badge reels, tote bags, and smaller accessories. Its light and quick to stitch so it works well when someones making a whole batch of items at once.

White and light grey fabrics are best, the fine black script lines read cleanest on pale backgrounds. Dont use textured or patterned fabric for this one because the fine lines get lost. Use stable woven cotton, canvas or denim for cleanest results. Skip fleece or terry cloth because those textures swallow up fine line work.

Tearaway stabiliser is fine for most woven fabrics at this density. Hoop tight and keep your machine speed moderate. The fine connecting stitches between letters can skip if you go too fast or the fabric slips. Try a test stitch on a scrap first if youre doing a batch of items. One colour, no thread swaps. Message me if the stitch connections look broken in your preview and ill send a corrected file straight away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
