Eight tentacles spreading outward in every direction, each one curving at a slightly different angle so the whole shape fills a rough circle. The body is a round dome head up top, same fire red as the tentacles, with 2 small round eyes that have a light gold-yellow ring around the pupil. Every tentacle has a row of black circles running down its underside, those are the suckers, and theyre done in a graduated size, big near the body getting smaller toward the curled tips where there's a flash of acid yellow.
4 colours total: fire red, black, acid yellow-green, and a white that serves as the eye sclera. Wilcom ran the red body fill in a dense directional pass and the tentacles in satin column lengths so the arms have a nice solid presence without pulling or puckering. The sucker rows are the detail people notice first, its a clean piece of technical digitising to get those circles lined up in a row without distortion, especially on the curved tentacle surface.
I been selling this one steady for two years, its honestly a design that crosses age groups more than I expected. Started with kids ocean-theme tees but I get messages from adults who want it on beach bags and hoodies too. A customer in new zealand ordered it for a surf shop merch run last summer, 36k max stitches at top 7.45-inch is workable even on a standard home machine with the right stabiliser setup.
Works on almost anything. White cotton, light grey jersey, navy denim, cream canvas all handle it. The red pops on pale grounds. Stick to a medium-weight tearaway on woven cotton and swap to cutaway for stretchy fabric. Avoid very dark red or orange fabrics because the whole design disappears into em. Pair with a plain sans-serif text block underneath on a kids tee for a complete sea-theme design. Hoop tight, those tentacle tips need consistent tension to stay crisp.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
