Heres the octopus skull and its got that gothic kraken vibe. A blue and yellow octopus has draped itself across a human skull, head sitting on top of the cranium and tentacles spilling straight out the eye sockets, curling under the jaw and snaking around the back of the skull. Its kinda dark academia meets sea-folklore.

The colour story does most of the heavy work. Deep cobalt blue across the octopus body and tentacles, lemon yellow highlights catching the top of the head and the suction cup ridges, bone white skull, sandy cream tentacle undersides showing the round suckers in proper detail. Charcoal shadows ground everything against a black canvas. 8 thread changes total, no white-on-white guesswork needed.

Stitch on black, charcoal, deep navy or burgundy. Skip light fabric entirely because skull lines vanish without contrast, design needs dark backing to read properly. Density runs 83k stitches at 7 inch, 36k at smallest. Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser hooped tight. Pick polyester thread for cobalt brightness.
