Its basically a dog losing its mind over a christmas treat and thats the whole design. Wide excited eyes, bone front and centre, a lil sprig of holly tucked in somewhere near the top. Four colours total. Golden tan for the dog body, crimson and forest for the christmas bits, cream or white for the bone. The whole thing has that broad cartoon outline style that reads clearly even when youre stitching the 3.5-inch size on a hat.
I been getting alot of christmas orders from pet apparel shops and this one sells consistently every november and december. One customer last christmas ordered a bunch of matching bandanas for her litter of rescue dogs and sent me photos. Really cute. The 7.5-inch version on a canvas tote is also popular with dog walkers doing holiday client gifts.
Stitch count runs from 7,324 on the smallest up to 18,245 on the largest. 5 sizes across that range so youve got good options depending on what youre hooping. Four-colour change is pretty simple. The christmas palette colours dont run into each other much so registration isnt a nightmare. Hoop stable woven cotton or twill and youre sorted. Use a cutaway stabiliser on stretch jersey, satin column outlines can lift on looser weaves without it.
Pair with a navy or dark green background and the tan dog body stands out properly. Skip busy holiday prints because the cartoon style competes with pattern rather than sitting on top of it. Avoid light yellow backgrounds, the golden dog body kind of blends.
Pop it on a dog bandana, a festive tote, or a pet Christmas stocking and youre done. Send me a message if your stitchout reads grainy.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
