Oh Deer christmas design. Leaping reindeer in solid red above looping green cursive text below. Its 2 colors, portrait shape. The reindeers front legs are up and back legs kicked out behind, solid red satin fill with that crosshatch texture visible across the body. Antlers at the tips are curly, more like little decorative scrolls than realistic branching antlers. Theres a small holly sprig near the chest, just a tiny accent, adding the only other green in the upper half of the design.
Below the reindeer is the 'oh Deer' text in a flowing green hand-lettered style. The pun works because youre reading it two ways at once: the reindeer above and 'oh dear' as an expression. People get it immediatley. the pattern fits best when it makes someone grin, spotting it on a bag or shirt across the room. Buyers ask about this design every season saying this one ended up being their most-commented-on christmas piece last season, which doesnt suprised me at all. People have been putting it on everything from tea towels to tote bags to kids christmas jumpers.
Only 2 thread colors means its fast to stitch and easy on machines that cant handle lots of stops. Stitch it on a white cotton shirt, the red reindeer body really pops against white. Pop it on a green tote bag and the red becomes the star of the whole thing. Back a small version with felt, punch a gold eyelet at the top and thread some twine through for a handmade gift tag that looks genuinely considered. Hoop tearaway behind woven fabrics at the 3.5-inch size, density sits at 410 which is light enough tearaway handles fine. Dont overthink placement, left chest or center both work with this one.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
