A pencil shape decorated in pastel colours with little stars, and the name Oliver running along the body of it. Its the kind of design that makes a gift feel made specifically for that one kid, which is exactly the point. The pastel palette keeps it soft and school-appropriate without being boring, and the stars give it a little extra spark. The lettering reads clearly without being cramped, and the pencil tip and eraser end are both detailed out nicely.

Available in a range of sizes. Stitch count is light to moderate since most of the design is outline and text fill rather than heavy satin or dense fill work. Tearaway stabiliser is fine for canvas, denim and cotton fabrics common in school items. For anything going on a polyester or knit lunch bag, use cutaway to keep the name legible through machine washing.

This gets bought mostly as a back-to-school gift, pencil pouches and lunch bags and backpacks are the usual requests. The Oliver name is pre-set in the design but I've had parents ask about swapping the name, which comes down to your software setup. If youre working with digitising software that lets you edit text elements you can usually swap it without too much trouble. The design layout is set up so the name area has enough space for most 5-7 letter names.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
