Three owls on a branch, all sitting close together and looking straight at you. The middle one is slightly taller, I think thats intentional, gives it a bit of personality like the middle sibling taking charge. Each owl has its own colour scheme within the same earthy palette so they read as a family rather than three copies of the same thing.

13 colours in here, which is the most complex design in the lineup. The stitching uses directional fills on each owl body so the feathers actually have some visual depth, not just flat sections of thread. Branch underneath has a bark texture detail which sends most people because you dont notice it until you look close. Im genuinely proud of the digitising.

Most people message me about using this for nurseries but I get alot of orders from woodland themed weddings and baby showers aswell. Last spring a customer had all 4 sizes stitched across a full nursery curtain set, the largest at the top and a small one on each tie-back. She sent photos and it looked absolutely lovely.

4 sizes: smallest at 4.34 inches wide and the largest at 7.23 inches. Stitch count tops out at 47,145 at the big size with a density of 871, so you need a firm cutaway stabiliser all the way through. Lightweight tearaway wont hold these flat on anything stretchy, be careful with jersey or knit fabrics.

Best on cream, oatmeal, warm white or sage green cotton fabric. Dark fabrics clash with the earthy tones. Use a water-soluble topping on towelling to keep the detail crisp. Message me if you have trouble loading the file and Ill sort it out straight away.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Woodland nursery curtain setStitch the trio across a pair of cream linen curtain panels for a woodland nursery where the design carries naturally without feeling like a wallpaper repeat.
  • Baby shower centrepiece hoop artPop the large 7 inch version in a hoop on oatmeal cotton and hang it above the gift table at a woodland baby shower as framed textile decor.
  • Kids bedroom cushion coverThe mid-size version centred on a cream cotton cushion cover suits a kids room that has a forest or nature theme going on.
  • Nature themed tote bagA canvas tote with the trio on the front is the kind of bag a nursery school teacher or early years worker carries with pride.
  • Woodland wedding favour gift tagUse the smallest 4.34 inch size on a small cotton favour pouch with a ribbon for a woodland themed baby shower or birthday gift bag.
  • Autumn home decor wall hangingFrame the biggest in a wooden embroidery hoop and use it as an autumn wall hanging that goes up in September and stays through november.
  • Childrens pyjama front panelStitch the mid-size on the chest panel of plain cotton childrens pyjamas for a woodland set that looks custom made.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
