Send this little red panda kit out into the world and watch every kid in the room reach for it. Sat front-on with a tiny paintbrush in one paw, eyes huge and bright sage green, those two pointy ears tilting just abit. The striped tail loops round the front and the whole panda perches on a soft palette-shaped cloud splotched with a few drops of paint colour.

Face mask is cream white with rust red round the ears and across the cheeks, body fill blends bright ginger into warm rust through the back. The painterly stitching means each fur section flows in its own direction, kinda like real wet brushwork instead of flat panels. Sixteen colours layer in here so the shading on the muzzle and inside the ears reads soft, not blocky.

Stitch counts cover 21k on the smallest 3.23-inch size up to 55k on the 6.93-inch full version, all hand-digitised in Wilcom for clean satin edges round the contour outlines. I get repeat orders from a small art-school gift shop in portland every spring term who want it on tote bags for the kids end-of-term packs. They told me last april the panda outsells every other animal motif on the rack. So thats a nice gauge of who reaches for it.

Pop this on cream cotton, soft mint or pale grey for the warmest read. Light backgrounds let the ginger fur and sage eyes glow. Skip black or navy because the cream face mask and white highlights drop dead into the dark and you lose alot of the cuteness. Avoid stretchy thin jersey on the largest sizes aswell, the layered fur fill is dense.

Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser on knit, medium cutaway on wovens, and a water-soluble topping on terry or fleece. Drop the machine speed slightly through the muzzle area where five thread changes happen close together. Bobbin in cream so it doesnt flash through the lighter palette cloud edges. Send a note through the support tab if any colour reads off and ill rebuild the file.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
