Its a palm tree, and honestly thats all it needs to be. Single trunk leaning just alittle to the right, long fronds spreading out at the top in that loose fan shape you get on coconut palms. The fronds are done with skinny directional stitching along each spine so the individual leaflets read clean. No big fill blocks here, its all line work. The trunk is a warm tan and the whole thing reads tropical without trying too hard.
I kept this one tight on purpose. Two colours total, forest green for the fronds and brown for the trunk, 1 colour change. Smallest size sits at 2.73 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall and only clocks in at 2,646 stitches. And the biggest at 7.5 inches tall is still under 4,221 stitches, which is realy light. That low density is what makes it so forgiving on almost any fabric you throw at it.
People have been buying this for beach tote bags, summer market aprons, coastal kitchen towels, all that kinda thing. My daughter ordered a batch on white linen pouches last august for her seaside shop and the stitching held clean wash after wash. Pair it with a simple script underneath and ya got a whole product line going.
Use a light tearaway stabiliser on woven cotton or linen and youre good. Skip cutaway here because the stitch count is so low it doesnt need the heavy backing. Works on white, cream, navy, sage, coral, even black fabric since the colours contrast nicely on dark grounds. Holler at me if something looks off when you hoop it and Ill take a look at the file straight away.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Beach tote bags and canvas shoppersStitch the 5-inch size on a natural canvas tote and it reads perfectly from across a farmers market stall.
- Summer kitchen towels and linen napkinsPop the 4-inch onto a white linen tea towel for a simple coastal kitchen look that doesnt overpower the cloth.
- Tropical themed apronsUse the medium size on a cream cotton apron for a beach cafe or summer market vendor setup.
- Coastal holiday gift pouchesEmbroider the small 3.5-inch on a muslin drawstring pouch and fill it with bath salts for a coastal gift set.
- Kids beach day teesRun the 4-inch on a white cotton tee for a kids beach holiday and pair with their name in chain stitch below.
- Pool towels and terry cloth wrapsHoop the large size on a white terry cloth towel panel, the low density means the loops wont get swamped by stitches.
- Boho wall hoop artFrame the 7.5-inch in a natural wood hoop and hang it in a boho bedroom or sunroom as simple wall art.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
