Two small pandas side by side, both sitting. The eye patches are satin fill with a slight directional angle that gives depth. Black ears, black arm patches, black lower body band. White satin fill on the face and upper chest. Each panda has a small blush circle on the cheek in pale pink. Four colours: black, white, grey for shading on the body curves, and that lil pink blush. Its simple and its clean and it doesnt try to be anything more than that.

These are narrow designs, only about 0.9 inches wide at the smallest and 1.9 inches wide at the biggest, but very tall relative to width, 3.5 up to 7.5 inches tall. Thats important for hooping. Youre stitching a tall thin panel. The density hits 1,478 per square centimetre which is genuinely high, so the satin patches will be solid and opaque. I had a customer tell me last autumn she used the 5-inch tall version as a decorative strip along a zip pocket edge on a custom bag. Worked perfectly for that narrow format.

Use cutaway stabiliser for anything woven, the density on those dark satin sections needs it. On white cotton or cream canvas the black reads sharp and the white fills clean. Hoop carefully because the tall-thin format means any hoop drift shows immediately at the top or bottom of the column. Pop a topping mesh on terry cloth or fleece because the satin wont sit flat without it.

Stitch on white, cream or pastel blue cotton for cleanest results. Works as a repeating pattern too if youll stitch multiple columns side by side. Skip black or charcoal fabric entirely because the panda patches disappear into it. Pale grey works but the contrast gets softer so test first on a scrap piece.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
