A lil baby panda just holding on. Thats really the whole design and its exactly enough. Round white body with the classic black eye patches and black ear tips, sitting sideways on a brown tree branch with both sets of paws wrapped around it. The paws are that soft dusty pink colour with individual toe pads visible, and theres 2 small blush circles on the cheeks. Tiny closed-curve smile. The branch angles from lower left to upper right with a few short side branches tipped with oval bright green leaves. Nothing complicated. Just a calm, happy little panda in a tree.

Nine colours, 8 thread swaps. At 7.5 inches this tops out at about 24k stitches which makes it one of the lighter designs in terms of density. The white body fill is a smooth tight-weave tatami so it stays clean and doesnt show the base fabric through. Black patches use satin column fills that sit slightly raised compared to the body fill, a nice detail you notice when you look close.

I get notes about this one from nursery decorators and new mum gift buyers pretty much year-round. A customer ordered the 4-inch version last february for her newborn baby girls nursery hoop and sent me a photo of it hanging above the cot in a sage-painted room. It looked exactly right. Honestly works on nearly anything except black, the eye patches vanish on dark ground.

Stitch on white, cream, sage, mint, pale yellow or soft grey for best results. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric. Switch to cutaway for stretch onesies and baby clothing. Keep the hoop tight because the round panda body can distort if theres any slack. Hoop centre first and let the branch run out into the underlay to help alignment on the smaller sizes.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
