Heres the patriotic bow cherries and its got a real vintage americana feel. Two plump cherries hanging side by side, each one painted up like a tiny american flag. Red and white stripes wrap around the bottom half, and the top quarter holds the navy star canton with cream stars scattered across. The stems join at the top and a stars-and-stripes ribbon bow ties em together right where the green meets.

The bow itself does alot of work. Long ribbon tails on either side, ya can see the stripes flowing down with that hand-drawn ink crosshatch shading. Small black sparkle marks float around the cherries, four of em, giving the design that vintage poster glow. Stems are forest green, and theres a soft drop shadow under each cherry so they dont float on the fabric. Its grounded.

Leading into july 4 a baker in austin wrote me asking if the cherries would stitch crisp on a navy apron. She wanted playful but still classy enough for the older shoppers in her shop. Eight colours total, mostly heavy on the red and navy with cream and green doing supporting work. The fill density runs heavy at the larger sizes, so this one is best on woven cotton not stretch.

Stitch on a cream linen apron, white tee, denim tote, or a soft chambray flag-day kitchen towel. The crimson and navy push hardest on a cream or oatmeal centre ground. Darker fabric eats the contrast on this one, the cream stripes lose pop and the whole flag look flattens. Set the 3.5 inch on a chest pocket and the 6.15 height on the back of a denim jacket. Pair with cherry bandanas for a fun summer market booth set.

Density gets serious. The tallest size lands around 83k stitches and the smallest still runs nine sizes deep at 35k. Lay down a heavier cutaway stabiliser, drop in a fresh 75/11 sharp, and ease back the speed on the satin column edges around the canton. Drop me a quick chat with your machine make and i'll send the right format.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
