Big heart split down the middle, left half is navy blue with white stars scattered across it, right half is red with horizontal white bands running across. Sitting right on top of the heart is an Uncle Sam stovepipe hat, the body has red and white alternating sections with a dark band and white stars, black-outlined brim. Upper left theres 2 balloons in a patriotic treatment, one round and one slightly oval, both with alternating star and stripe patterning and little star-shaped balloon ties at the strings. And all around the outside of the heart theres a scatter of small 5-point stars in a lighter pinkish-red.

Six colours, 5 colour changes, 6 stops. Red fills most of the heart body, dark navy handles the star field, white shapes the stars and horizontal bands, black does all the outlines and the hat brim, and theres a soft maroon-red mixed in for depth. Stitch count goes from 11.3k at the smallest 3.28-inch size up to 30.6k at the full 7 by 7.5 inch version. That top-end size is a substantial piece. I had a customer last July stitch the 5-inch version onto a canvas tote as a 4th of July block party bag and she said people kept stopping to ask where she bought it.

Fabric choice matters here. Use white or cream so the navy and red hit as sharp as possible. A light grey ground also works. Avoid dark grounds because the white star details will need topping material to show up properly, and thats extra complexity you probably dont want for a seasonal run. Use cutaway stabiliser for anything with dense navy fill, that navy section packs alot of stitches into a small area and tear-away wont hold it flat.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
