This is exactly the kind of design that sells itself. Its a heart shape filled completely with the American flag, stars canton in the upper left, red and white stripes running across the rest of the heart. The outline is clean and the fill is solid rather than sketchy, so it has a bold graphic quality that works well from any viewing distance. Nothing fussy about it, just a strong patriotic statement in a shape that people already respond to. I get asked for this one around the Fourth of July and honestly it runs year-round for veterans and military families too.

Stitch data is not available for this version so do a test run before your final project. The design has distinct red, white, and blue sections which means at least three thread changes minimum. Tearaway stabiliser works fine on woven fabrics like denim or twill. If you're running this on a jersey knit tee, cutaway is smarter since the hard flag fill edges can pull on stretch. Hoop as tight as you can without distorting the heart shape.

Denim jacket left chest is one of the best placements for this, the heart reads really well against dark indigo. Fourth of July t-shirts are the obvious market but I've also seen it on canvas tote bags for summer markets and on cap fronts for patriotic events. A customer used it on a fleece vest for a Veterans Day event and said it got more comments than anything else they wore that day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Denim jacket left chestAgainst dark indigo denim the red, white, and blue fill colors read especially well at the left chest position.
  • Fourth of July t-shirt frontFourth of July tee fronts are the most popular use, customers run these in batches for family reunion shirts each summer.
  • Patriotic cap front placementCap front placement works cleanly with the heart centered, the bold fill holds detail even on structured cap fabric.
  • Canvas tote summer market bagCanvas tote bags with this centered on the panel work well for summer markets or patriotic craft fair booths.
  • Fleece vest chest embroideryFleece vests carry this design well for outdoor patriotic events, the fill stitching stays flat without puckering.
  • Military family gift projectMilitary family members often request this for gift projects, especially around Veterans Day and Independence Day.
  • Americana throw pillow coverCentered on a canvas or cotton pillow cover it works as a seasonal Americana home piece that stores away easily.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
